Bollywood Filmmaker Kabir Khan says reports of King Khan Shah Rukh Khan making a cameo in Tubelight are solely rumours. There were reports that the Fan actor was approached for a distinctive presence in the movie which stars Salman Khan in the lead.
When reporter asked about this, Kabir Khan told, "When I will get to know I will let you know... But for now, all these what you people saying are just rumours." Tubelight marks the third collaboration of the actor-director duo, who have earlier worked on blockbuster Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Ek Tha Tiger film.
Tubelight also a Chinese actress Zhu Zhu. The film will hit the theatres on Eid next year 2017. Kabir Khan was discussing at the launch of Vivo V5 smartphone. The director, who has helmed films that've a strong political background, also talk about the recent demonitisation move of the government.
Further reporter asked if the move is affecting film business, especially the early released RockOn2, he told that, "I think thus move is affecting daily life, going to a movie is part of daily life. The fact that there are inferior notes available in the market, people aren't able to get their hands on 100, 500 rupee notes so it is absolutely a problem. Futher said Jiskay paas thoda bohot hai woh movie ticket pe nahi kharchana chah rahe hai. They want to cover important things first (those who have few money, don not want to spend on films tickets)."
